MINISTRY UPDATE:

This has been a very busy season for us here at Webb Ministries, but also a blessed one.

In September, I was privileged to teach a seminar and preach in The Bergthaler Mennonite Church in northern Alberta, Canada where the Lord blessed us with many who received Christ as Lord and Savior for the first time, and hundreds of others rededicated their lives completely to whatever the Lord wanted for them in the days ahead. One night the altar was filled and people were kneeling all down the isles, committing themselves to make Jesus Christ Lord of every aspect of their lives.

I was so thrilled to be in a church where there was such a genuine hunger for the Word of God and to find a man like Pastor Bill Janzen, who genuinely desired to see his sheep grow and mature. We had between 550 & 700 attend each night for the services. Many came from other Mennonite churches for the seminar and then went back determined that their churches would not compromise in the area of marriage and divorce. Some folks drove long distances to get to the meetings night after night.

Thank you for praying for me, I had asked the Lord to give us good weather and it was beautiful until after I left when they said they had their first dusting of snow. Northern Alberta has very warm, friendly people who made me feel very welcome.

In September and October I also was privileged to have more radio interviews between my traveling to seminars.

In October I flew to Boise, Idaho for a seminar and preaching services. Three local pastors, William Blanscet,, Allard Smith and Paul Wood, by faith asked me to come and then arranged the facilities for us to meet in. The Lord gave me three new friends in the ministry through this trip. These men opened their churches to me to speak and invited many in the area to hear the marriage seminar.

My next trip was to conduct two pastor’s seminars in South Carolina. The State overseer of the Church of God of Prophecy, Bishop Ken Baker, invited me to hold these seminars for his pastors and leaders. One was held in Greer, SC for the churches in northern SC and the other in Charleston, SC, for the southern pastors. The response was exciting and the fellowship was very special to my wife Pat and me. We just returned from that trip last night and now I am trying to get this news letter out and finish my correspondence before I leave for Harrisonburg, VA for another seminar this weekend, and another the next weekend in Ephrata, PA.

How Pat and I covet your earnest prayers in our behalf. Only the Holy Spirit can convince others of the seriousness of this message and He only moves in response to our faith and prayers. “Ask and you shall receive.” How we thank the Lord for your faithfulness and regular support.

FINANCIAL DECISION:

We are trying to be good stewards with the Lord’s money to make every dollar go as far as possible. In our last newsletter we placed three stars above the addresses of almost three fourths of our mailing list to let them know that we need to hear from them and know they are really convinced of the importance of this ministry. We stated that if we didn’t hear from them we would have to drop their name from our newsletter list. We don’t do this because we want to, but rather because of the high cost of putting out the letter. The purpose of the newsletter is to inform those who wish to be a part of the ministry of our progress and our continuous burden to get this vital message out. We know many who order our book won’t necessarily be burdened to support it’s outreach, but we still acquaint them with what we are doing to give them an opportunity to pray for us and see if the Lord will put this work on their hearts. As of now we will be deleting about two thirds of the list with this mailing. Those of you who have been faithful will never know how much we thank the Lord for you and realize that we could never do what we are doing without you. We have many more things we want to accomplish, and will, as He continues to provide.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

We are believing that the Lord will provide a laptop computer and a new, compact “Power Point” projector for our seminars. This will allow us to present the truths in full color and much animation, and get the truths across much stronger than the present overhead transparencies we are using now can do.

For wisdom, insight and strength to take advantage of every open door.

Please pray that the Lord will raise up support staff to help in the day to day operation of this ministry. We need part time secretarial help and someone with knowledge of recording equipment to help us edit tapes and record new ones.

Pray that the Lord will continue to open more doors of opportunity to share these truths in areas where they have never been spoken.

Pray that the Lord will continue to open doors of opportunity to get the Spanish version out as quickly as possible. If you know of some Spanish believers, ask the Lord if you should share this truth with them.
