PERSONAL NOTE FROM THE WEBBS
This year is flying by at an incredible speed Pat and I have been incredibly busy with correspondence, editing, transferring teaching tapes to CDs, radio interviews and seminars.
The seminars in North Carolina went very well. Many decisions were made and many teaching materials were dispensed to believers who want to learn and share the truth about marriage to others in their area. We had very good crowds and receptive audiences. Approximately seven other pastors attended and went away saying they now know what the bible really says about marriage and divorce.
When I returned home, I became ill with a temperature of 102. The doctor diagnosed me to have a lung infection. That was on February 23, and I have been on strong medication ever since and am still battling with it. We would appreciate your prayers concerning this.
We cannot allow this to slow us down however, and next week I will be in Ohio for a convention, where there will be approximately six thousand attendees from more than fifty Holiness groups. We want to introduce them to our ministry, materials and message.
This kind of exposure can be very costly. We hope to hand out about $6 -$7,000.00 in materials to groups who have never heard of Webb Ministries, and to cause them to become curious about our message. We hope to give every pastor in attendance a free book and two tapes. Beside this, will be the cost of travel and lodging.
We do not have the finances to do this, but we feel it is crucial to introduce this truth to many yet unreached believers in hopes they will join us in helping to spread this vital teaching.
If you feel this is something you would like to have a part in, we would love to hear from you. We would like to plan to attend about six other large conventions around the country this year, as the Lord provides. Paul, the apostle, asked the question; “how shall they go except they be sent?” Will you have a part in sending us? Let us hear from you.
The timing is right! Conventions are being held all over the country this year trying to find out what the Church is going to do about the problem of divorce, broken families and the strengthening of the father image. They are looking for the answer, AND WE HAVE THE ANSWER!!!
Please pray with us about this incredible opportunity for making this truth known and possibly receiving invitations to share what the Lord has given us to tell.
We will be in Colorado in June, Pennsylvania in July and possibly Canada in August.

POINTS TO PONDER:
Mr. Gene Edward Veith, writing in World Magazine, march 13, 2004, said; “American Christianity has become superficial, happy - clappy, offering formulas for earthly success rather than the promise of eternal life and a call to radical discipleship. Our evangelism has become reduced to ‘ask Jesus into your heart,’ without sometimes even mentioning who Jesus is and what He paid for our salvation.”
Mr. Joel Belz, writing in World Magazine, March 20, 2004 said; “...with every passing week, it seems more and more apparent that those who argue for a more-or-less traditional view of marriage are fighting a rear-guard battle. We may, for the time being, even have the polls on our side in some important venues. But time is not on our side. The permissiveness that is so pervasive in our culture today and the implicit pluralism that grants to everyone the right to think whatever he or she wants to think about just about any subject on earth except the subject of pluralism, of course, will almost certainly sometime in the next generation gobble up any gains we might achieve in the next year or two.
In other words, I’m all for the Federal Marriage Amendment, but we shouldn’t pretend that even it is likely to prevent some pretty sobering changes in our culture down the road a bit. For the problem isn’t so much that we have the wrong views on homosexual marriage; the problem is that, as a society, we have the wrong views about where we get our views. So, only a tiny minority in our society today really as any well-defined, specific idea why they’re against homosexual marriage. And when the shallow thoughts and trivial convictions of the other folks pass away even many who say they oppose homosexual marriage = they’ll give way all too easily to a totally alien mind set.
That alien mind set is what we should really be worried about. And it is much closer than we tend to think.
This mind set is a point of view that does not simply seek permission to engage in certain kinds of behavior. It seeks instead to ensure that everyone else in society also engages in that same behavior, or at least gives it tacit approval.
So in the end, the debate will be not just about what we are willing to tolerate in other people’s behavior, but which parts of that behavior we are willing to endorse as our own. The ‘Evil One never simply seeks permission to engage in his agenda; he wants to force even those who disagree with him to comply in that agenda. Dreading that day when every knee will bow to the Righteous King, the chief rebel is going all-out to force even that King’s loyal subjects to bend their knees, however temporarily, in his direction It’s going to take a lot of courage in the days just ahead to resist.”
Dear Ones; Here is a Clarion Call to be alert and anticipate what is coming so you can determine ahead of time what your answer will be. Many churches have already crossed over to compromise these areas and we will soon see the corruption it will produce in the name of mercy and compassion. For those who refuse the “old wine” of “sloppy agape,” for the new wine of “forsaking all that we have for His sake and the Gospel’s” please know the old wineskins will not be able to contain us. The Lord will help us develop “new wineskins” to contain these end time convictions, till He comes for His bride, who is to be “without spot or wrinkle.” There will be a price to pay, but it will be worth it! Evangelist, Sammy Tippit said: “American Christian leaders will most likely cling to personal entitlements and personal kingdoms and will be unwilling to truly count the cost. Will You?”
Chuck Crismier, of SAVE AMERICA MINISTRIES, said in his 2001 edition of “The Illegitimate State of the Union:”
Have we birthed a bastard nation in just one generation? Virtue is the voice of freedom. Yet national freedom is being crucified on a twisted cross of personal liberty. In unrestrained pursuit of our feelings in an orgy of our flesh we have sacrificed our faith. How can a fornicating nation look her bastard sons and daughters in the eye and say, “I love you?”
